Dymak — 2D orthophoto and 3D model of an iconic building

The Dymak building is a striking piece of architecture. The task was to turn it into an accurate digital record — something that both documents the building as it stands and can be used to show it off.

The brief

To create a precise digital basis for the building, usable for documentation, visualisation and as a starting point for a Digital Twin.

The delivery

A 2D orthophoto and a 3D model, both built on drone-based data capture and processed in WebODM.

The interactive model

The model is fully interactive and opens straight in the browser with no download. It can be rotated, zoomed and measured, so the building can be examined in detail without being on site.
